We are a Creative Curriculum and Christian based childcare in Macomb. We care for children from 6 weeks to 5 years old and provide a range of age-appropriate resources and activities to encourage their development right up until they are ready to join school.
Who We Are
God's Love Overpowers got its start in Macomb in 2020 by Laura Warrick, with our current center opening its doors in 2023. We decided to do things a bit differently at God's Love Overpowers by creating a space that fosters early learning in a fun and safe environment where children from 6 weeks to 5 years old can explore the world around them.
We believe our innovative approach gives children a bright and positive start in life as we encourage both exploration and discovery as well as emotional intelligence and building friendships.
Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is based on faith, kindness, and learning. By blending indoor and outdoor classrooms and environments in a home-away-from-home environment, we are able to create a space where children feel empowered and ready to learn.
We aim to become an extension of your family and be there to support you during every step of your childcare journey. We always want you to have peace of mind when your child is with us and to know we are teaching and guiding them in a way that helps them grow.

Merging Teaching and Childcare
We offer a variety of full and part-time programs, including daycare for infants and toddlers, preschool, and pre-kindergarten.
We believe that it’s never too early to start learning and that it’s vital to always present opportunities for children to learn and grow as soon as they start at our center.
By developing our programs with curriculum experts and childcare specialists, we’ve been able to hone in on what makes early education a success and created a learning program that allows our children to enter school seamlessly.

Our Beliefs
We are not just a childcare, we are also part of God's Love Overpowers Ministry and are a Christian Child Care. We are a non-denominational Ministry and our focus is the Living Word of God. We teach the children the Creative Curriculum with Bible stories, songs, and teaching about the love of Jesus Christ, blended together. All are welcome here and we want you to be aware of our beliefs and policies up front, so there is no confusion or conflict with our beliefs.
At our Christian center, our core values are rooted in the teachings of the Bible (The Living Word of God). While we enthusiastically partake in various celebrations, we have some specific practices we'd like to share with you.For instance, when it comes to Halloween, we don't engage in any festivities related to it, and we kindly request that you refrain from dressing your child in Halloween attire or costumes. During Christmas, our focus is on the sacredness of the season, emphasizing the celebration of the Savior's birth and the nativity rather than Santa Claus.
At Easter, we commemorate the cross and steer clear of activities like egg hunts and the Easter Bunny. Throughout the different seasons, we incorporate enjoyable activities that align with biblical teachings.
It's important for us to emphasize that, while we maintain our core values, we welcome every family without any form of discrimination and fully respect your individual beliefs and practices.
