What is the Great Start to Readiness Program?
The Great Start to Readiness Program (GSRP) is a funded Pre-K program for 4-year-olds in Michigan. It supports families in sending their children to preschool for free! Through the program, your child will receive a high-quality, comprehensive education with hands-on learning and the opportunity to make new friends and exciting memories.
We intend to help each child prepare for kindergarten and further schooling, so we are excited to announce that we provide funded spaces for eligible children to attend our wonderful early learning center and kickstart their education journey! All children are eligible to attend our child care center if we have space, so don’t hesitate to inquire and apply!
Our philosophy is based on faith, kindness, and learning. We aim to become an extension of your family and be there to support you during every step of your childcare journey. We always want you to have peace of mind when your child is with us and to know we are teaching and guiding them in a way that helps them grow.
Who is eligible for GSRP funding?
Families from Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb County are eligible, including children with a qualifying IEP, who are in foster care, or children who are experiencing homelessness.
Children must be 4 years of age by Dec. 1st when applying, and could be eligible for a fully funded space! Even if you’re not sure if you qualify, please reach out to us and we would be happy to help you in any way we can!
